The beam is divided into two separate parts, one on top of the other. Steve's palace is strictly built under the principle of symmetry, being contrary to the recycle factory of Zhang which is full of irregularity and distortion. The position of meeting place is determined from where the two structures can be seen at a single point, also forming a triangle relationship with two structures.

The theme of Steve's Zen palace is base on light colour, basically pure white with textures. There is another thing worth pointing out, as can be seen in the pictures, his palace is built on a transparent floor, similar to the concept of "walking in the cloud".

On the other hand, Zhang's factory is on an isolated island, considering it is the place gathering waste papers. lighting is carefully placed at the rear of the factory which leads to the interior space.

Texture

Refined Mover for Zhang yin

Personally I don't think the idea of organic shape would fit into my design. Simple shapes can also comes with richness.
